Plans, Pricing & Capacity#
The Plan & Billing tab — usage, buckets, and cost.
How Pricing Works#
Dedupify is priced by capacity — the number of records across the object types you have activated.
| Billing cycle | Price |
|---|---|
| Monthly | $10 per month per 10,000-record bucket |
| Annual | $5 per month per 10,000-record bucket |
Capacity is measured in 10,000-record buckets that round up. If your activated records total 10,001, you need 2 buckets; if they total 10,000, you need 1.
The record count is scoped to the object types you have activated in Dedupify — not your entire HubSpot portal. Records in object types you have not activated do not count toward your capacity.
Free Trial#
New installs start with a 14-day free trial. No charge during the trial period, though a payment method is required to start it.
Trial limits:
- One object type — Contacts or Companies only. Deals and Tickets are not available during the trial.
- Up to 2 field rules per match rule.
- Review-only mode — auto-merge is not available on the trial. Every candidate pair requires manual review.
See Installation for setup instructions.
Billing States#
The Plan & Billing tab in Dedupify settings reflects your current subscription state:
| State | What you see | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Not started | Start 14-day free trial | Start the trial to begin deduplication. |
| Trial active | Days remaining in trial | No action needed; configure rules and review candidates. |
| Past due | Update payment method | Update your billing details to restore full access. |
| Canceled | Update payment method / Reactivate | Reactivate to resume deduplication. |
| Active | Normal operation | No action needed. |
Over-Capacity Behavior#
Once per day, Dedupify reconciles the number of records across your activated object types against your purchased capacity.
When your record count exceeds your purchased buckets, you have two options, set via a toggle on the Plan & Billing tab:
The over-capacity state — banner and capacity controls.
Pause (default). Near-real-time matching stops for new and updated records. Any duplicate pairs already in your review queue stay visible and can still be reviewed and merged. A banner on the Plan & Billing tab indicates that matching is paused.
Auto-upgrade (opt-in). Dedupify automatically moves your account to the next bucket tier so matching never pauses — your bill rises to match usage. You can turn this on at any time from the Plan & Billing tab.
Spend Cap#
When auto-upgrade is on, you can set a spend cap — a dollar ceiling on how high auto-upgrade may take your monthly bill. Above the cap, matching pauses and asks you to confirm before spending more.
Your spend cap must be at least your current monthly price. You cannot set a cap below what you are already paying.
Turning Matching Back On#
When matching is paused because your portal is over capacity, you can resume it yourself from the Plan & Billing tab.
Resuming upgrades your account to the record tier your current usage requires. A confirmation modal shows the tier before anything changes. At the same moment, you can opt into auto-upgrade so matching does not pause again if your record count grows further.
If your subscription is past due or canceled, you must reactivate the subscription before you can resume matching. The Plan & Billing tab shows a notice directing you to update your billing details first.
Lowering Your Capacity#
You can lower your purchased capacity (bucket count) for the upcoming billing cycle from the Plan & Billing tab. The change takes effect at renewal — there is no mid-cycle adjustment and no refund for the current period.
If your current record usage needs more than the new cap you select, Dedupify warns you that matching will pause at the start of the next cycle. Matching continues uninterrupted until renewal; the pause only takes effect if your usage still exceeds the new cap when the cycle turns over. You can raise the cap again at any time before renewal to avoid the pause.
Dedupify does not reduce your purchased capacity automatically. Lowering capacity is always a deliberate action on your part.
Under-Utilization Nudge#
When your portal is licensed for more buckets than your current record count needs, the Plan & Billing tab shows you how much you could save each month by lowering your capacity. Selecting that option opens the downgrade control described above.
